Koalas live in eucalyptus forests, and these trees are their homes and food.

But every day, more and more trees are being cut down or burned in fires!

The forest that koalas depend on is disappearing quickly.

 

Without trees, koalas have no place to live, no shelter, and no food!

A bushfire is a big, fast-moving fire that burns down the trees where koalas live and eat, making it hard for them to find food and a safe place to stay.

What We Are Doing to Save Koalas?

Koala Clancy Foundation

Planted 129,697 trees in Victoria and koalas are using them already.

Eurobodalla Koala Project

Found two koalas where they were feared extinct in New South Wales.

Magnetic Island Koala Hospital

Saved many injured and ill koalas in a small hospital in Queensland.
